DEPTH PSYCHOLOGY

My interest in the field of depth psychology has included doctoral level study focusing on the work of Carl Jung, James Hillman, Joseph Campbell, and Henri Corbin - theoreticians and practitioners whose expanded views of the human psyche are attuned with my own. Additionally, I have done extensive training and certification in Jungian oriented dreamwork with two leading innovators in the field - first with Stephen Aizenstat - and later with Robert Bosnak. While the methods employed by these practitioners are influenced by Jungian psychology, they both have extended the boundaries of traditional dreamwork in novel and groundbreaking ways.

The composite effect of my interest in depth psychology has been a broader vision of human developmental possibilities - and the acquisition of therapeutic skills that allow for an expanded engagement with psychological processes. A depth psychological approach to psychotherapy is most appropriate for those who wish to address psychological issues at a deeper level and explore their experiences within the context of a broader conceptual framework.
